Anyone tired of the quarantine yet? I think everyone is, and if YOU are, please check in on your multitasking mom...

Things have not been easy for any of us - especially those who is a homemaker. Everything was fine until house helps were there, but quarantine decided even they need care !

Now here's a wordplay..!

With no help around, you, your family and lots of joy!!

In this time of pandemic where everyone is helping with the chores and learning new skills to use thier time to the fullest...

Here are my 5 best time-saving mom hacks I thought to share that I have learned these past three weeks from my mother which will make life in quarantine a lil more sustainable..

1. Freeze your veggies and onions

The favourite grocery shop you bought frozen stuffs from, may be closed in lockdown but you can still make your cooking a happier one and avoid chopping every single thing then and there-Yes..you heard me right ! you can freeze vegetables in a store box or zip lock bags. This is going to save tons of your time  believe me ! Freezing not only makes your task easier but stress free also .

2. Clean as you go

Before hopping out of the kitchen straight afer cooking, leaving the mess piled up for later cleaning- clean it as you go. This is one of the best mom's kitchen hack I have learned in quarantine. Instead of dumping dishes into the sink, clean it out and trash the peels right away. You will realize how much after-work is already done by the time your dish is complete.

3. Do as much prep work as possible

Mom's feed so many mouths 3-4 meals per day or even more sometimes. So, in this case what I saw my mom doing to reduce her kitchen time and workload is to pre cut the ingredients, organize various proportions in bags and freeze them- to get the right amount needed. Also you can make dishes and put them inside the refrigerator in sealed containers. Because why not ! It's so convenient getting already prepared meals in the weekend to get that extra family time together.

4. Grocery shop by section

To make sure you get in and out of the grocery shop swiftly, Organize your list department wise and start shopping with ..like meats first moving on to fresh foods, and then vegetables and snacks at last. You can bring your own bags in order to keep it hygienic and germ free- as you can wash it when you're home.

5. Make a whole meal at a time

This is a brilliant idea to avoid the washing and cleaning after cooking. Dishes like haleem, biryani, or even chinese requires you to just use one single container and can be eaten more than once. Therefore you can save yout time in tidying up later in the kitchen.

This was all about today's article on the COVID kitchen-lifestyle hack. Hope you guys had some amazing takeaway.  Please comment and share this post if you enjoyed reading it. Have a happy day☺️ and follow me if you like my writing!
