Rural Life - Now & Then

Hi guys!! In this blog I would like to make a comparison of rural life, now and then.

Nowadays things are available so easy according to past years. But even now some facilities are not available in rural areas. I have been living in a village since my birth, sometimes in my free time I use to think how things could have changed little and more? When I was kid there was not even proper transport facility in our village but now there are various options available now. I never ever joined any coaching class during my highschool education, cause I never knew something like coaching classes exist by then. Later on when I left for higher studies it was little difficult to adjust in the new environment. In our village there were no english medium school. So, I was lacking at studies. Afterwords when I got familiar with it I tried to take control of it. Now there are so many facilities at our school itself.

Just because lack of facilities, I sometime feel like I missed so many opportunities. Maybe that is not the thing, I got whatever I am destined for. People like us don't get things easily that is why we value them. If we would have got everything that easy we might not know its importance.   Now even we face network and electricity issues so often, but it is better than before. When I was a kid we used to stick to a spot for network reception and without moving here or there we had to make calls😅. The village where my aunt lives, sometimes they live without network for days. Ones I was there for an occasion and I got frustrate when I found out there is no network for days😵. No one will be able to connect with the outside world without network until they get out of the village. Few months ago there was no electricity for three days. I can't imagine even a day without electricity, we also face such a problem but for few hours and those hours are boring, frustrating. Nowadays so many things works on electricity. So, we can't work without electricity for much time.

We don't had proper medical facilities years ago but now we have atleast for day time. But for critical health issues we have to go to the nearest city. I feel something is better than having nothing. Everything is improving day by day but it is taking time and villages left outdated. Some villages still don't have some of above facilities. This is the reason villagers move to the cities, due to which cities are crowded. So many things have to change.

Good one 👍 As facilities increase people tend to stay in villages rather than migrating to cities.
