Social Engineering -  refers to a scamming activity that may release threats to someone's privacy by making trust to share his/her secret evidence with some unwanted people. Such as sharing the details of a bank account or password to unlock confidential information on social media accounts. In addition to manipulating people most of these activities can be done by scammers, hackers, and criminals. They pertained to apply two tricks based on reaching out to their goals: 

• Disruption - To make disruption to cause any or inconvenience something to happen with someone's personal life.
• Crime - Acquiring someone's confidential information to cause any wreckage for wanting some amount of money.

Different types of Social Engineering Attacks and Threats

• Decoying - is suspicious activity that scammers send some malicious code or some malware installation link to the user interface by false premises so that they can steal the personal information from their accounts.
• Pre-texting -  is another type of scamming activity that a false sense of trust puts on the minds of people to obtain their confidential information that can be done by some impersonating police officers and bank officials they obtain information by having a call or asking some questions about your privacy for money and robbery.
• Phishing - is one of the most popular ambiguous activities which can be done by clicking malicious website links by the people where the hackers hacked their privacy easily by showing legitimate content of that website.
• Spear Phishing - The fraudsters have a target their victims by offering any kind of job responsibility to steal their privacy and security - phone number, contact, or passwords. Freshers who are always looking for new jobs are the real victims of scammers.
• Scare-ware - is a common manipulate activity, where the scammers send some pop-ups links in between display ads such as your software, is getting malware affected, and provide some fictitious and false alarms to hack people privacy. 

Tips to Beware of Social Engineering Threats

• Always have checked the sources where the source is communicating from.
• Avoid clicking fictitious pop-ups by refreshing the site that you have visited.
• Ask for good spam filters.
• Being updated your antivirus software to protect your privacy on your phone and PC.
• Enable the feature of rejecting unwanted calls and messages on your phone setting so that it notifies and protects your privacy.
• Set a master-key password it helps to secure your social media accounts.
• Enable the Two- Authentication feature on social networking apps to secure your privacy.
• Being updated with d your multi-factor password found on your social networking sites.
• Regularly identify the details of any activity on your devices. 
• Always clean up the unwanted junk files and folders it keeps your phone faster with neat and clean.
