This blog is about my favourite day of the week; i.e., THURSDAY. It is strange right, because usually the day others like is at the end of the week like a Friday or a Saturday, but why do I like a day that is exactly in the middle of the week? At least it could have been a Friday as it is close to the weekend if not a Saturday or even a Sunday.
Well, the reason has got nothing to do with the weekends or the weekdays at all. Maybe initially, it used to. Having brought up in the Middle East, the Thursdays there are the Fridays here. In other words, the weekend at the Middle East begin on Thursdays; and Friday Saturday are holidays; Friday being the main one. (Here it is Sunday.)
That was the initial reason for liking Thursdays; the weekends, no school for two days, chances of going out, playing for long etc etc. However, even after joining a college in India, I still like Thursday even though it was the middle of the week and the weekend was on a Friday followed by Saturday and Sunday.
Usually we despise the weekdays and enjoy the weekend or in other words, we don't like the beginning of the week because it is back to school or college or work but like the weekends as it is the day to relax and chill. But here I am, right in between the despising and liking of the day of the week.
I am in India and if it is the weekend I like then it should be Friday and not Thursday as I wasn't in the Middle East anymore. Why Thursday? Probably because it is right between what I have achieved in the beginning of the week and what I am looking forward to enjoy. It is the middle ground which I tend to enjoy more than the beginning and the end of the week as it was just a start and an end respectively.
I won't say that there isn't a particular reason as to why I like Thursdays more but it is just that I can't really explain the reason and the ones I mentioned above were mere possibilities. Maybe because I liked being in the middle ground right in between the beginning and the end. It is probably the feeling of what I achieved so far in the beginning of the week and then looking forward to complete the remaining for the week and to relax and chill.
So I am ending this blog by saying that I love Thursdays and it has always been good for me, maybe not all the time but otherwise, I feel more lively and vibrant on Thursday. Also my birthday this year was on Thursday. Thanks for reading folks. See you in the next one.
HAPPY THURSDAY!!
