Shock Them In A Good Way

What do I want to do in life? Be happy, have fun. Eat. Sleep. Repeat.

What is my goal in life? my ultimate goal? To be self-sufficient, be a one-man army. I want to be in a position where people should fear me. Now that might seem narcissistic and I don't mean that I rule over them and take advantage of their fear. That's not the case. I don't want people to mess with me or pick on me and they should think twice before doing so. And the best way to avoid getting intimidated by others is to show that you aren't really intimidated and eventually it became a habit that works most of the time.

Well, I am not here to talk about that. Or even my goals because it is said that if you talk about your goals or what you plan to do, they are less likely to happen. And there is also the possibility of ridicule and disregard as it may seem unrealistic to some. But the sky is the limit and as long as it is realistic and challenging, you are good.

Never let anyone know of your plan, do it and shock them. In a good way though and it is also good for you as well. Having said that, there are times you need to let others be aware of, such as your loved ones.

My first solo trip to Manali was a shock to all my relatives as it is something they never thought I would do and it is something I never thought I would do. One reason is I didn't tell them even while I was on the way. I don't like telling what I am going to do but rather I would say after I have done it. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. But that's life. You have to let others know of something because maybe they can help in some way or the other.

The last time people got shocked and curious about me was me working in the BBC as the pictures I shared sparked a lot of curiosity among the lot of people in my friend list and not just relatives. Truth be told, it was a Studio Tour and I just clicked some pictures of me presenting news or the weather and people thought it was real. Well, if I had uploaded a video of myself riding a broom, would they assume that I have been enrolled in Hogwarts? Sure, they will.

I wish I could do that and keep shocking everyone, but in a good way and I am worried that they are about to be shocked about something that I fear would happen and would retract me a few steps down.

I prefer, ‘He did this!’ ‘He did that!’ ‘He went to meet so and so’ instead of ‘He is still there?’ ‘He’s not doing anything?

It's not about me wanting to please people or worrying about what people would say. I just want to keep going and don't want to go back. I am done with the past years, I don't want to be the old self, the old self whom others thought was nice and innocent but in real it was a timid and clueless one often making a fool out of me but now he isn't afraid of making a fool of himself because he doesn't care anymore.

I am done with nostalgia, done with reminiscing memories, and done with being stuck in a f#ck!ng rutt for way too long. I am not going to force myself positivity and all. I want to make things right and I hope it does and I want it to. Life's going to be hard. It is hard to get motivated, hard to not get distracted, hard to not feel lazy, and so on.

This is my final blogpost of the year and the before year ends, I have to clear some accounts so I can start a new one. Also, fill up the resolutions and stick to it properly and fully which wouldn't always happen but then you have to make it happen. One of my resolutions would be to write a blogpost at least once a week and make it as regular as possible.

Everything will go your way Mr. Blake. Happy New Year.
