This is not a clickbait title as such but this line has been told and that isn't what this whole blog is all about. This comment didn't get me thinking but it has a lot to do with things that are happening currently.
Being in my mid-twenties, a lot of stuff should have been sorted by now ideally but for me, it is all happening quite late. In other words, I am not fully involved in the RAT Race but running my own race in a parallel track. I am doing my Master's currently and also started a part-time job. Despite being abroad for more than six months, a lot of things haven't happened immediately and they have happened finally, I am happy about it but I am also asked if I wish it had happened earlier.
Well, partly yes and partly no. And it isn't just about life alone but also about the other areas of interest. Yes, it took a while for me to shred out unwanted illusions that had led to disappointing outcomes. It actually took a pandemic for the realisation and the retrospection. It took a pandemic and after for me to explore some great movies which I have been pushing away and went with some lousy movies which I didn't realise then. And it took a pandemic for me to cut out unwanted people to the point of barely having people. (Not complaining, but just stating facts.)
As for the comedian comment, I have actually received that very comment from a comedian on social media when I commented about his late post and he replied which I didn't expect at all. It was intended to be a thug I guess but it was true in many ways even though I wasn't affected by it.
Even if it is happening late, I am glad that it is finally happening and I am very content about the same because it is all about the timing and I believe this was the perfect timing for me because I am getting it all with a different understanding and perspective and not necessarily from a surface level. It is okay to be clueless and unaware because it is all part of the learning process. I am still finding myself by getting lost in all the things I love. I am still learning and I have a lot to learn from the past to apply in the present for the future.
Well, that's all for now. Thank you so much for reading. I will see you in the next one. Cheers!
