Hey folks, I know it's been a long since I posted on the blog and the reason was I was home and there was a family function and since there was no class, I went for a week.
It was my cousin's wedding and it was quite fun even under the current circumstances with limited people following the covid protocols. The most fun part of it was bonding with cousins; maybe not all of them were present as some were out of the station and some couldn't be present because of the venue or the number of people allotted. The engagement was more fun than the wedding I would say because the engagement was nearby and there were almost all of the available relatives who came for it, whereas the wedding was at night and because there was restriction and the venue was far, not all were present.
Not more than twenty people were allowed inside the church and so I along with some of my cousin's relatives had to watch the wedding live from the hotel where the reception was happening. After the wedding, the newly married couple along with the family arrived at the reception and we had a blast. Well, that was the good thing that happened at the end of January.
Now coming to February which wasn't a good start as mentioned in the title. Why? Because January ended on a good note and February began on a bad one. After the wedding, my father and sister had to go back and they had to get tested before traveling and the worst part of it was, he has tested positive and so he had to stay back and my sister had to go on her own. Well, I dropped her off at the airport and went back to where I stayed for class purposes. Since I was a primary contact, I also had to get tested to avoid the risk of spreading in class and which is why I waited for the results. There weren't much of symptoms but I had a sore throat and was feeling slightly feverish and I also had a feeling that I might test covid positive. My assumption came out to be true. I have tested covid positive and I am currently in quarantine or isolation or whatever you want to call it. I could've gone home and rested but I chose to stay back because that's what I wanted.
So the year has started, a month has passed and January which we see as a trial month before getting into action was a tiring month even if nothing wasn't done. When I thought I would kickstart in February once I return has put me in isolation because of covid. Good thing about being isolation, I can do a lot of things that I wanted to do now that there's time. And the bad thing is: the symptoms, the hot weather and staying indoors which is what I prefer more than outdoors.
So that's all for the blog, thank you so much for reading. I will see you in the next one. Also take care, and stay safe.
