Hey folks!
I know it's been long since I posted something. Part of it was my schedule conflict and part of it was the weariness. I intended to write about the month a week ago but then I was so tired and caught up with work that I couldn't. Also, I was in thought of what to write and even when I had the idea, I wasn't motivated enough and so I ended up pushing it aside. But today, there is something I have to say that I wanted to do for a long time so here it is.
Those who have been following me for a while might remember reading a blog post I wrote about dreams and the emotions expressed in the same. Again, not the ones that don't let us sleep but the ones we see in our sleep. Well, I wanted to write the blog post because of the dream I had today. I am not going to talk about the dream but how it feels when you usually dream.
There are two ways to see it. One that feels so real that we believe it isn't a dream and all the things and the feelings are felt real at times and so we delve so deep into it through our subconscious mind living it forgetting about the reality and what was and is to come after you have woken up. I have felt that multiple times. But lately, I haven't been dreaming probably because of not having proper sleep and so I might not remember some of the dreams.
Also, you don't delve too much into it after you have woken up wondering what it could be, and all because you have got a lot of other stuff going on. In dreams even if the events were less likely to happen, we behave as if it is a normal thing but when we think of it in reality, we find it so random.
And the other way to look at it is to be aware that it is a dream and when we are aware of it, we can do whatever we want. We can even end the dream if we don't like the way it is. For instance, I jumped into the lake to avoid being caught by executioners or something and ended the dream.
Always remember that when you are aware that you are dreaming, you are in control of your dream. Even when you are not in control of the dream, you might not have enough time to do things as the dream might fade by the time you get to it. So if you wanted to do something, don't wait for it, just do it. Don't slow the process, do it immediately as we don't need to wait as we do in reality because there is enough time and barely anytime in the dream. And you might not necessarily get a second chance even if you get one, please don't blow it up like I did today thinking I had enough time in the dream but no.
Well, I am not feeling sad about it but just that I should have been aware and utilised it. And that always applies to reality because you don't always get a second chance and you can't afford to let go of it thinking you have enough.
So what are your thoughts about controlling the dreams and being controlled by the dreams? Have there been any instances where you missed out on things because you took your own sweet time? Or been in control of your dreams and done anything you could? Let me know in the comments below.
