Hey folks, I know it's been a long since I posted something and that's because I had a guest who was with me for the last three days; my best friend came from Bangalore. He didn't come just to meet me but for some other purpose and he thought of stopping by or should I say, I invited him over and proposed a plan of what we could do. Knowing for six years, this was our first meeting outside Bangalore. 

I picked him up at the railway station on March 31st and brought him straight home. We had no plans of what to do in the coming days and decided to figure it out the next day. And that is how the month of March ended for me (us.)

When April began, we didn't have on Day One as it was too hot to step out and there were chances of rain so we waited till evening to step out. However, on Day Two we decided to go to the mall and watch a movie and eat at the food court and booked tickets for the same. Even if we were sitting at home, we just talked like that is what we do when we are together. Talk about anything and everything, past, future, dreams, goals, life, love, crushes, and so on. It is still fun to revisit even if we had shared the stories quite a several times. 

But then, sitting at home alone and going just to the mall wouldn't be fun and something has to be done for Day Three. The highlight of the outing was clearly the metro ride; be it from home to the mall and back, even from the railway station and then to the spot we planned to go to but didn't happen because of the rain. 

The mall was fine even though I had been there many times and honestly it wasn't fun as it used to be in Bangalore and we can't stay in the mall for long unless and until there is something to do or purchase. We had a movie to watch and we waited for three hours after lunch just for it and because we had each other for three hours, it wasn't boring. 

Day Three didn't go well as expected as he had to visit a relative which went on for a long and we had to push the plan of going to Marine Drive a little later why then he left the relative's place, it was getting dark and still went there. He even thought of leaving the next day and tried to reschedule the ticket but then it was too late and that was something he should've done earlier if he wanted to. 

And it started raining along with thunder and lightning which I have always detested as it does drain your energy and emotions to an extent. We ate an early dinner at a restaurant since it was raining heavily and managed to book a cab to go back home and why then, it stopped raining but the lightning was still there. He began packing as he had to leave in an hour while I sat there. I was having the same feeling when I was leaving Bangalore after the three-day trip. Was I feeling sad because he was leaving? Well, what more could we have done if he had stayed longer? It would have been boring and there would have been restlessness. I wasn't sad because he was leaving but when I couldn't spend a little more time with him as planned. When he thought of staying a day more, it kind of lightened me up but then it wasn't happening, and to make it worse, there was thunder and lightning, not as an obstacle for the journey but to drain your already lost energy and feeling. 

However, it was all fine as I dropped him at the stop and waited on him till the bus left. I was better. The external environment did accelerate my energy a bit and I wasn't having that sad feeling anymore. I felt good and we walked for some time and wished each other well he said that he would come again and the meeting outside Bangalore should happen more often till we are fully involved in our own respective careers. 

The last three days were vibrant even during the dull circumstances and the weather, we did have fun catching up and sharing stories and conversations. We will be meeting soon for more stories, fun and many more.
