Spectacular Awestruck with this story line. Beautiful story. Full of suspense. And Director made a right choice of hero for this movie. Arulnidhi perfectly did justice to his role.
What to name this movie with? a horror movie? Thriller? Crime Thriller? Director has used all these genres In a single title "Diary".
If u want to feel the real scent of the movie watch at night. The movie haunts.. definitely u will enjoy this movie. I wished the movie to extend still more.
The movie differs from other tamil horror story. Unlike other tamil old story of killing the ppl in the flashback and the ghost take revenge, this is COMPLETELY FRESH. Go watch!! U would enjoy it.

Purely on the basis of the reviews, I watched this. I find it hard to believe that this film has an imdb rating of 8.5. I'm not sure what people are watching or how they evaluate movies these days, or if their standards are simply low. It started out being very dramatic. Background music was overdone and superfluous, the cinematography was unprofessional, and the way the scenes were presented in general almost felt like a last-ditch effort to create a particular vibe.
If this were taken in malayalam, I'm sure the malayalee audience wouldn't have rated it so high. I guess it's a tamil movie charecterestic of making things overly dramatic for no reason. However, the plot and the story were good!The finest tense thriller film is Diary. From the opening to the closing scenes, there was constant suspense and we were unable to react to any of the scenarios. The best thing about the movie was how well each character and scene was integrated. Finally, I adore this movie, so if a sequel is in the works, you can count on me to see it.
The film's supporting cast is filled with many young and lesser-known actors who do an excellent job and keep us glued to the screen.
The film is technically sound and has a chilling score by Ron Ethan Yohann, as well as excellent cinematography by Aravindd Singh.I will highly recommend you guyz to watch this family movie HAPPY MOVIE GUYZ♥️.
