THE IRISHMAN
In fact, even after the end of the film, I did not understand what I had seen 🙂 .
They are talking and talking..they are talking! The duration of the film is 3 hours 29 minutes. What impressed me most about the film was the way the film was shot, the stage setups and the technology.
So, this review seems to be the only thing I can write about.
NETFLIX
The film has been made with an investment of nearly $200 million. After many changes of hands, NETFLIX has finally accepted and released the product.
I don't understand how they made this film. Because it's like being around at that time.
The color alone suggests that it was taken at this time.
De-aging Technology
Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci are all over 75. They have been made to look younger through technology.
A technology like in 'Shivaji' where Rajini was shown as white.
Robert De Niro's appearance in the beginning, reminiscent of the old story, and his appearance in the scenes that follow are the biggest costs of the film, along with the other two.
Removes wrinkles and makes the face look younger.
Robert De Niro's acting is at its best in his aging scenes. In other words, he got more acting scenes then.
How did they take it?!
Locations, clothes, cars, buses, airplanes, other vehicles, surroundings, everything in the scenes are reminiscent of old times.
During that time there is less traffic, the roads are wider and the number of shops is less. Everything remains the same.
When shooting period films, only a few locations are staged and the rest are usually completed.
However, most of the scenes are shot outdoors. This is surprising.
It's like remastering a 1960-70s film and releasing it in color. How is this possible?!
Cinematography and background music are the biggest strengths of the film. Moreover, the cinematography and the angle are eye-catching.
It will be spectacular if you watch it in theaters.
The producers changed and eventually it got owned by Netflix.
Issued in limited numbers in the US. The film failed.
As the length is 3 hours and 29 minutes, it is not easy to watch in one sitting.
The only main characters are mostly / entirely old people.
There are many verses.
