If one approaches a problem with a positive attitude, there is all likelihood of its appearing smaller than it really is. A real perception of the problem makes a big difference because every problem can be solved if approached in a realistic way. 

You are, therefore, required to cultivate a positive attitude to life and your positivity will not only help you carry out tasks successfully but also inspire others to slough off the inertia that holds them back.

When the great English writer, Samuel Johnson wrote – “The habit of looking on the bright side of every event is worth more than a thousand pounds a year,” he tried to convey the importance of a positive attitude. For example, if you are thinking of making a mark in some field, you should be aware of the ingredients of success in that field and prepare yourself accordingly. In this age of cut-throat competition, success has to be achieved after competing with a large number of peers. Never mind going the extra mile because the more competition you face, the bigger achievements will grow. Never allow any negative thought to enter your mind, for it will be detrimental to your success. Develop the power of always thinking in a positive way, so much so that your powerful thoughts will drive out dross from your mind and keep you enthusiastic and cheerful. 

Convince yourself that you have to succeed at any cost and you will feel coming closer to your goal with every step. The thought of success alone can keep negative thoughts at bay. Your positivity will never let any negativity to creep in.

Always bear in mind that the grand essentials of happiness are : something useful to do, something to love and something to hope for. In other words you have to first decide what you want to do in life. If you set a goal for yourself, moving ahead in a definite direction becomes easier and your mind starts thinking about the stages of your journey towards your goal. Your systematic thinking becomes the driving force and enables you to do away with the impediments that crop up en route. Your love for your goal encourages you to put in the best of your efforts.your efforts start yielding fruit and the accomplishment of the taste you have assigned to yourself starts appearing at hand. A person with a negative attitude cannot feel the same way.  It is your will to carry out tasks which fills you with hope If you keep your face to the sunshine, you cannot see the shadow. This is a positive approach and only a positive approach prevails.
