Hello bloggers!!!
This blog is based on highlighting the advantages or perks of being a wallflower.
Being a wallflower simply means being a reserved one or having the habit of being in the company of some specific or, for them, special people whom they adore. They face difficulties in opening themselves infront of everyone and mostly will be found sitting at any random, alone corner, busy in enjoying their own company. These kinds of people don't seek or long for attention and always try to remain unnoticed. They are a bit shy to confess their feelings and emotions towards anything with much freedom. They act in such a way mostly due to various meaningless norms of the society. They prefer to remain anonymous.
Though, many people consider them as weak and try to mock them for fun and think that being a wallflower is like a disadvantage for life but if you see it clearly through the eyes of a wallflower, there are various advantages of being like this.
These kind of people have different hobbies which mostly involve themselves or their any close friend. They are always busy in their own chores. As they are always the odd one out in any party, hence, they avoid being a part of any.
Penelope Featherington in Bridgerton was a wallflower. She was never seen dancing with anyone during balls as she wasn't having any partner. No one ever approached her, which depicts the disadvantage of being a one.
No one pays attention to them or no one even tries to talk to them. They are introverts of an extreme level.
They are a great observer as they have the ability to see and understand the chaos of other people without being noticed (it's like one of their hobby).
Generally, these people are quite happy being like this. They are smart and creative ones. Though, they are socially awkward always but still they prefer to be like this.
There is also a movie, "The perks of being a wallflower", released in 2012 starring Logan Lerman, Emma Watson, Ezra Miller. In this movie, a 15 years old introvert boy, Charlie struggles to cope with his past with the help of his newly made friends who are actually his seniors but still support him.
So, are you also a Wallflower?!
