Mango: A Fruit Of Positivity

         Mango is not just a word in South India but it's an emotion. When the Sun starts to shine well, the mango season too starts well. Mango season usually starts around mid-April and one can find different varieties of mangoes wherever one turns. These sunny days become sweet days because of these mangoes. Unlike other fruits it has a wide range of varieties like Neelam, Totapuri, Malgova, Imam Pasad, pathuri  so on and so forth. It is an inevitable fruit in the plates of all good occasions of this season and its health benefits are innumerable. These mangoes are rich in vitamin A and C, and hence it improves immunity and digestive health. It helps to lower the risk of cancer too.

           Not only the fruit but also leaves are used in large crowds to promote oxygen level and reduces the level of Carbon dioxide.  Mango is considered as a symbol of fertility in Indian epics and Puranas. According to the Hindu mythology, mangoes are associated with Kamadeva, the God of love. It's leaves have special therapeutic values. It helps to repair damaged hair and reduces high blood pressure and sugar levels. 

                Mango trees are not like some other trees of India. It becomes part and parcel of every one's lives. People shows special care and concern to this tree and it takes part in the nostalgia of many.
