Iam not an avid traveller but the idea of a vacation, or just a one day trip does excite me. As i live in the state of Maharashtra, we are now in a not so very but a little strict lockdown. But like a month or two berfore that, we were finewith new life, maskes everywhere. So me and my mad bunch decided to go on a trek together. So i thought ill share some stuff about that trek and the time we spent together with you guys. Enjoy!
We decided to go n a trek on not so very easy, nor that difficult(if you trek) tour. We choose Vasota fort. So vasota is like an hour away from where i live, so not that much to travel. Friend has a car, got into it, we were seven, somehow pushed ourselves into that carπ€ͺ. We decided that we will move by five in the evening so that we can like there and have a night out kinda thing.
Reached a bit late than expected, because no one was on timeπ. Got ourselves setteled in a village called bamnoli, got the tents booked for us, went strsight towards the tent, and watched the sun set. It was beautiful as we lived right infront of a river.
Had our dinner. Some had chicken some had paneer, i am from the paneer clan. Then had the entire night to ourselves. Bonfire, music, dance, games, stories, and a bit of crying too. Spent the entire night jumping around and slept at 4 in the morning.
Got up at 6, had breakfast and headed right towards our destination. Started our after a one hour long boat journey, as its a little away from were we stay, or everyone has too, there is no other way.
Started our trek at aroung 8 in the morning or 8:15 ish, cant really remeber. And reached the top at 10:30. Its that difficult, but if you have bunch of idiots who are extremely fit then you can do it.
Also it is not allowed to stay on fort, so we hurried ourselves up and came down, got back into our boat, and then the finally reached the resting area, or the hotels that we stayed in.
The best of the entire trek that i liked other han the fun that i had with my friends is that, while you enter the main gates to start your trek you are checked, or more preciesly your bags our cheked. Now this might seem a little rude but they do so to keep the area clean. Like how many water bottles do you have, hoe many plastic bags do you have, or anything than can be thrown away. All of this is written down, so when you return back they check it all, as to confirm that you didnt throw any garbage away on the fort. Once satisfied, they leave you.
Hope you had some good time while read the blog. I had fun writting it, was nostalgic and a bit sad, as i wont be able to go out for like a week now. But if you can, stay safe.
