Hey you all beautiful people! How are you all? Hope you all are doing fine.
Today is another day, or I must say another Sunday that I spent wondering what movie to watch. I can't really be happy with anything when it comes to movies. So I found four such movies that I'll try my best to watch for the next week. Yes I know there are seven days in a week, but I am a student and I hardly get any non-screen time. So I try my best to get away from my laptop, but then I end up here writing blogs😜 but it's fine, it's like a hobby now.
So, the bucket list for the next week is about Body Positivity. Just wanted to be assured that I am not the only one being pointed out, by almost anyone. Be it my own parents, my cousin's,family members or literally any aunty walking on the road. I know exactly how you all feel, because we all have gone through this once in our life. So here is my list:
1)200 Pounds : this movie is basically about a girl who happens to be chubby and is a very good singer. But she never tells this to anyone and lives in disguise, as she is overweight. So to come our of her insecurity she gets a plastic surgery and lives with a different identify.
2) Muriel's Wedding : This is about a women who could hardly find a date so a boyfriend was a big deal. But one fine day she goes about the business of landing herself a husband.
3) Gippi : A teenage girl has so many problems while growing up and so does Gippi, but the biggest problem is her weight. But the movie is about how she gets over her insecurities and loves herself the way she is.
4) I Feel Pretty : One fine day, an American women who is insecure about her appearance, wakes up from a nasty fall, and suddenly starts believing that she is a confident women. Eventually falling in love with herself and doing things that she was not able to do because of her insecurities.
Hope you all also enjoy these movies if you have time. Do let me know how do like it. I do have seen some, not all but some. But as time passes you tend to forget stuff, so I thought I'll just brush it up.
Other than that, no matter how thin, or fat or dark or dull a person looks or is, it's not you job to let them know what they look like to you. They love themselves and you should appreciate that, and should not promote their insecurities.
Thankyou.
