8 Ways To Stop Procrastinating And Start Studying

hello everyone. recently i have been procrastinating a lot and i myself have come up with ways that helped me and would help in the future so i would stick around to them. I thought of sharing them with you all so that it helps everyone. so here we go 

  1. eliminate distractions : revising in a team is a good idea when everyone has already memorized materials-after that you can check each others knowledge. close all those social media tabs, put your phone on airplane mode and try to study in a clean and uncluttered space. 
  2. use your strongest sensation to memorize things : each student has their own learning style. some people like to draw mind maps and use bright stickers, others prefer listening to audio or video and writing long answers. 
  3. setting deadlines : working without specific time limit can be highly unproductive as you wont be able to track your progress and will likely panic if you feel like you are far behind than everyone around you. 
  4. work when you feel most alert and efficient : listen to your body clock and notice when you yawn less. don't torture yourself with red bulls and espressos, its better to sleep for a couple more hours and stay alert and fresh for longer later that day. 
  5. don't stress too much : every time you feel anxious and demotivated, try to be realistic and consider several scenarios of what will happen if you succeed or fail in this particular task. 
  6. eat healthy and exercise : sports is always a good idea if you do not want to exercise in particular. your body will be thankful for any kind of movement after long hours sitting by the desk. studies have shown that exercise positively can increase cognitive performance. 
  7. get inspired and save time by asking help : instead of going through every bit of information available, ask people who have already have that assignment to share their tips, or send you their notes, or even help you with your work. 
  8. motivation is the key : humans beings are actually capable of much more than they can imagine. they are stronger when it is necessary and the nature demands it from them. so instead of finding excuses of avoiding studies or leaving work, try to visualize till the last minute, try visualizing a bigger picture. 

i hope that these points get you through your procrastination period and we all end up being useful to ourselves, our family our society and this world in all.
