Present To Cherish And Acknowledge

Hey all,

Most of you must have heard about this short phrase that ‘There is no time like the present’ and it is true. There is no time like today, like the present, like now. Earlier I used to overthink a lot about my past and actions that can’t be changed or redone but still, I used to drool, more than it was required and by doing this all I did was, disturbing my mental sanity and peace without any reason, and then on the top of that I used to remain irritated, upset, gloomy all the time. After some time I started realizing that there is no use in it and I’m missing out on various things and memories that I could have created. Though at times there are still many things that bother me a lot, I try to overcome and ignore them as much as I can because these small, little things, unknowingly affect us a lot and all this because we let them do this. Why ruin our present moments of fun and enjoyment, just because we are stuck in our past.

Now, if we talk about the future then yes it is a human tendency, which we humans generally tend to have, wherein we think more about our future and take unnecessary tension and headache. Also, by doing so we miss out on so many things and at times catch many diseases too. I’m nowhere saying that future planning is wrong but it should be planned in a manner that doesn’t affect your present happiness and peace in any possible way. Come to think of it, and then we can’t possibly deny the fact that it is not pivotal. We all are well aware of its importance in all our lives. Planning is really necessary but not at the cost of our present. Always remember this small phrase. We don’t realize the importance it carries but, there comes a time in all our lives when we regret not enjoying and living the moment we were in and were either stuck and drooling about the past or were busy planning our futures. It may sound too clichéd but you never know when is your last moment. So, always enjoy and cherish the moment you are in and live it like it’s the last happy moment you have.

Thank you.
