Hey all, 

Well first of all I want to let you all know that anything and everything that I write here on this platform, generally is my take on the topic and no hard feelings against anyone or anything. So, likewise, I believe that today we all are well aware of this term feminism and what it means, but the fact here is that we all have our different set of meanings that we with time, have developed for this particular term. Similarly, like all of you, I have one meaning of it too that I have developed from my experience and thinking. So, I feel that feminism is something where we females generally ask or demand equal rights. Rights in the society and not in the constitution because thankfully I truly believe that our constitution might be corrupted, lagging and all but it isn’t unfair. Yes, there are spheres where it is unfair too but if we only and only talk about women rights, I feel that they don’t tolerate any kind of discrimination against our rights and in terms of our equality. And though feminism is a multi-layered phenomenon and it has many layers to it, still all in all according to my understanding it’s basically about our equal stand in the society, receiving equal opportunities in all the spheres and usually about equality. 

Believe me or not, there are still many areas where even to date women don’t usually receive the kind of equality and appreciation that they deserve. There is no doubt in the fact that today we have developed a lot and we surely have more rights and freedom now, than we had earlier but with time we have realized that it is not enough. Not enough because the other sex is getting much more freedom and rights than us even today. The movement is all about equality. The day we get it, feel it and apply it will be the day of it ending. The movement is all about considering the two sexes equal and there must be no discrimination or inequality between the both. There should be no gender-based discrimination, no colours should be assigned to a particular sex, and there must be no boundaries that should be set only for girls and women and not for the boys and men. And this is what we demand!
