The primary character of the Jujutsu Kaisen series is Yuji Itadori(, Itadori Yūji?”). He is Wasuke Itadori's grandson and the son of Jin and Kaori Itadori. Before meeting Megumi and consuming one of Sukuna's fingers, Yuji was leading a typical life in Sendai City. Yuji started in Tokyo Jujutsu High as a first-year student with Megumi and Nobara after he became Sukuna's vessel.

Apperance 

Yuji is a young man of average height who, despite his loose clothes, gives the impression of having a slender build. In reality, he is muscular and lean. In addition, he has spiky pink hair that is fashioned in an undercut and somewhat wide light brown eyes (albeit in the manga, he is brownish blonde). Along with his numerous markings, he receives a second pair of eyes when he becomes Sukuna's vessel after chewing his finger. These eyes only open while Sukuna possesses his body.

Yuji wore high-cuffed black slacks, white shoes, and a light-colored hooded jacket at the beginning of the series. On the other hand, in the anime, he wore bright red shoes and denim slacks. Yuji started dressing in his own version of the uniform when he enrolled in the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College. He wore a red hoodie, black slacks, and red shoes over a black long sleeve shirt that looked like a gakuran.

During the Shibuya Incident, he sustains a prominent scar between his two eyes as well as a lesser scar on his left labial commissure of the lips. Mahito was responsible for both scars; the first was sustained when the cursed spirit unexpectedly attacked him and cut his fist[3], and the second was sustained when Yuji engaged in combat with him following his metamorphosis.

He lost all of his markings, including the second pair of eyes that only open when Sukuna has control over his body, when the latter were transferred to Megumi Fushiguro, who became his new vessel.

Personality

Regardless of how close or distant he may be from them, Yuji is an equitable guy who genuinely cares for everyone he perceives as having their own will, including his allies. Because he believes so strongly in "the value of life," he will make sure that others are given a "proper death". As a result, he feels that taking another person's life would be ethically wrong for him to do, and he makes every effort to avoid having to do so until absolutely necessary.
