Everyone around the world is going through a stressful situation of the pandemic. Fear and anxiety are in the air. But still, if every one of us has to sail through this storm then why not face it? We don't have control over the outer situation but we do have control over our own thoughts right? So let's accept it and be ready with positive healing thoughts to conquer the fear and face the situation fearlessly.
Meditation
Since ancient times it has been proved that our thoughts are very powerful to manifest anything we want. Be it health, finance, relationships, or profession. So let's start with one positive thought daily. People have now realized the importance and benefits of meditation for health. And hence they are now turning to daily Yoga practices.
Many psychologists and psychiatrists recommend meditation for mental health. Positive affirmations are very effective if done with full heart and belief. “I am in perfect health”, “My mind and body are completely healthy”, “ I am happy and healthy”, such short affirmations help in boosting positivity in our mind.
Prayer and Gratitude
Prayer and gratitude are also very helpful to support optimism and faith that everything is going to be all right. This phase too shall pass. Everything is temporary on this earth. even the grief or sorrow. You don't have to go to any temple to pray to God. Because God listens to your prayer even if you say it in mind or thoughts.
Do you remember the saying ‘Dar ke aage jeet hai’? We have a choice to be sad & fearful or remain calm to face the situation fearlessly. We have already been going through fearful feelings and they don't feel good, right? So let's start with practicing what can make you feel good and give you the strength to face every adversity with courage. There is no harm in it. Don't doubt anything. Just have faith as a child has in you.
Some people may find it absurd or ridiculous. Or will say, “this is all only theory. Practically it is not possible” . But I will say, what's that you are losing anyway by practicing it?
I came across one interesting quote somewhere,
'If you can find a solution, why worry?
and if you cannot find a solution, what's the use of worrying?'
So, the moral of the story is “Don't worry, Be Happy!” :)
