Going to the restaurant is an integral part of our life, so we should also follow the rules and regulations of the place. If we do not know manners then people will be called rude.

EATING FOOD ART

Let us know how we can be elegant in restaurants:

  • Before going to the restaurant, know what the atmosphere and food there is like. Do not let your mood deteriorate. If the guest and host have to arrive separately, then set a time limit.
  • Everyone has to go inside together. If there are more people in the party, the host should arrive early to welcome their guests.
  • If you are going to the restaurant after shopping, do not keep your shopping bags on the table and keep them on the chair near the legs.
  • Wait after taking your place in the restaurant. The waiter will come to take orders from you himself. Do not call him by voice or by utensils. This indicates rudeness.
  • The host should order food only when he gets complete information about his interest from the invitees.
  • For whoever is placing the order, it is important to know the choice of others as well.
  • Sometimes if you are not clear with the name in the menu card, then get the information from the waiter.
  • When ordered foods arrive on the table, the host should take care that everyone has got the food as per their choice.
  • If you want to share food, then put a little in the children's plate first. The host should finally put food in their plate. It shows good manners.
  • While eating food in hotel, restaurant, do not eat food with hands, use spoon, knife and cut.
  • Take small pieces of food.  Do not eat by filling the spoon.
  • Use a napkin, eat food slowly, do not make a sound while chewing. These small things are courtesy.
  • Do not talk loudly in the restaurant, nor try to listen to the people sitting at the nearby table.
  • Take the children home by convincing them not to be devilish in the restaurant.  If they are doing then convince them not to do it with love.
  • The host should pay the food bill. If ever there is a party of participation, then the responsibility of the bill is on one side.
  • If you find an acquaintance in the restaurant, do not ignore it. Greet them with special respect and invite them to eat.
  • Finally don't forget to give the waiter a 'tip' with Bill. Decide the tip yourself. By the way, give a tip while looking at his service. If dissatisfied with his service, advise the manager, not do complain before exiting.

What types of manners you had in any of the restaurant share me your story in the comment section, I'm interested to know about your restaurant experiences.
