The world is full of life, one of the most important is wildlife or animal life, some of us love animals and prefer to keep them as pets.
Is it possible to treat an animal as a pet and does it really improve our daily lives?
2. We do not realise that by trying to control the actions of an animal, we are harming them and they are cannot be treated as the the someone's personal property.
3. keeping an animal or a bird is not the solution to our problems, are we going to blame the animal when something goes wrong and we do not know what to do.
4. We cannot make an animal the centre of attention of our lives, do we have the time necessary to devote ourselves to the well being of these living beings.
5. Our lives are all about our selves and our needs, do we understand what the animal needs, they cannot talk and express themselves, we do not know what they are thinking.
6. Animals are different, we say that we will take care of them and then we do the opposite by treating them as part of the furniture and forgetting that they are living creatures.
7. We expect animals to understand what we are saying and yet we do not bother to understand whether the animal is facing any difficulties or if he is satisfied with his life.
8. Animals do not communicate in the same way as humans, we think that by teaching them some commands, everything has been resolved and there is no need for further communication.
9. Animals have emotions, they get angry, frustrated and sad when they are not understood, sometimes they attack us and we think they are ungrateful.
10. Animals that are kept in one place for long periods of time and are not fed properly suffer from health problems and we do not recognise that there is a problem.
In my opinion, keeping an animal as a pet and calling them fancy names, shows that we have forgotten to respect the value of life, animals have their role , they are not there for our amusement, they should be allowed to live life on their own terms and not decided by someone else.
