I was among the lucky ones who could the enjoy the nature despite being in a metropolitan city. I live in the outskirts of the city so I do have to travel far for my work and necessities but I refuse to give this up despite of all what the city offers. Do let me tell what you are missing out when I stay here before I move out of this heaven.
First and foremost I should let you know about the calm mornings and evenings and the breeze that gushes your ears with pure symphony that no orchestra can create. You can walk for a very long time and that is enough to clear your head of all your worries. The sunrise and sunset is a beauty in the village as it slowly brings colours to the the sky..
The next inevitable thing to speak about is the beautiful birds like cuckoo that screams its lungs out with joy, crow that fights and gangs up with its friends and my beautiful squirrels that makes noises. Squirrels are the most beautiful creation that I have ever seen because I enjoy seeing it run from branches to branches without the fear of falling, how it munches on nuts and grains with a sweet sound, how it runs for its life even on hearing the slightest sound…it is just beautiful...
I obviously can't miss out the goodies that I get from the nature... The curry leaves and its mystic scent...The coconuts that are hard to break... So ending up being tender coconuts when tired... The smell of ripened jackfruit.. The smell of golden mangoes and fight isinevitable for getting them😉…lemons that are easily stolen...the orange that takes a lifetime to ripe.. The pomegranate that are half eaten by the naughty squirrels.. The blueberry that is smashed of its juices as it touches the ground... The vegetables like drumsticks, beetroots, beans ans so on.. that can easily be harvested... You can also find farms adorned with rose and other pretty flowers... Mulberry farms filled with leaves for the silkworm to feed on.... And the list simply goes on....
Last but not the least the simple people who don't have crazy ambition just hope for a better day.. Better results in farm... And they always adorne a smile that is contagious...
In short you can never fall into depression if you are in a village... Yeah it is easy to get rumors in air but people are simple minded and they don't think beyond what we say.. Their simplicity draws me in to their world... I am a tenant and happy to stay here long enough to enjoy all these privileges but don't if I will have this privilege always.. So this is just a form of gratitude to all villages that I have been to all villagers who accomodated me.. to my mother nature that embraced me....
I know I can write blogs and blogs about this life but hope you can relate and feel the experience as you read this...
Do let me know what you think...
