"Arrow, would you go and checkout how far-" Cheron was cut off by the ear blowing sound of drums and trumpet.
All of them winced at the sound for a second.

"My sun and moons, they have to do this every time." Nova said regaining her composure first.

"They are here. Come on Nova let's go down there." Cheron said and as if on the que Arrow came to sit on Nova'a right arm and she made her way out of the room with Cheron right on tail.

Passing the royal corridor with guards every few meters they made their way to the stairs that went straight  to the entrance hall where the guests were being welcomed by King and Queen of Peri Peri land. Drums and trumpets were still being played but more melodious and calm than before.
Father Palace Kore was also there.

Nova went to join her parents handing Arrow to Cheron who stayed with the other maids.
As much as Nova would like Cheron to come along she knew it won't be allowed with her mother and uncle Kore around.

"Come here my daughter met our special guests Queen Callisto, King Umbriel, their son prince Janus and his cousin prince Cygnus. Royals of bird eye land please meet my daughter Nova my only daughter." King Deimos introduced

Nova greeted all the guest one by one with little node of head and they nodded back. "Welcome to Peri Peri land, hope you enjoy your time here." Nova sad giving her most charming smile.

"Of course we will my dear thank you so much." Queen Callisto, a tall average built woman said.

Nova took in the look of all the guests one by one.
King Umbriel was clean shaven unlike her father who was heavily bearded although something in his attitude seemed suspicious but Nova ignored it for then. 
Prince Janus was average in height and lean and muscular with golden brown hair and blue eyes, even Nova was surprised when she described Prince Janus as good looking in her head. She quickly snapped her thoughts towards Prince Cygnus, he was what one would describe athletic and mysterious. He was taller than rest of the group around and with red hair and Vampire like dark eyes he stood out the most, not to ignore the shine of night moon in his eyes.

Everyone entered the palace and announcer called for everyone's attention outside the palace which was clearly audible to people inside the palace as well.

"My fellow Peri Peri landers, tonight is the night of function in the honour of arrival of the Bird Eye land Royals, remember and make sure to give them your highest cheer during the ceremony." The announcer finished and murmur of agreement erupted in the crowd.

"You all must be tired from the journey, I'd suggest you a peaceful rest before the joyous evening begins. Your meal would be ready on your preferred schedule." King Deimos said to the guests.

"We can't wait to explore your kingdom King Deimos and yes I'd like to have a bit of rest, my old bone are not as strong as when we met last. Won't you prefer that as well my darling wife." King Umbriel said turning to Queen Callisto.

"I'd very much like that, but the princes here might have some other plan." Queen Callisto said referring to the two princes Janus and Cygnus.

"We'd like to tour the palace if you don't mind King Deimos. I've heard a lot about the silver lake and golden garden of Peri  Peri land. " Prince Janus said in the most polite manner Nova has ever heard, she looked into the direction of Cheron who was not much interested in royal talks and feeding Arrow his treat for not flying around the guest's heads.

"Yes of course Prince as you wish. Goddess Naiad forever had a great grace upon us. And as for golden garden, my daughter Nova and her  friend Cheron gets all the appreciation for that." King Deimos said pointing to Cheron among other maids. Cheron turned red as everyone turned to her having Arrow on shoulder and green chilli in other hand.

Arrow flew off to sit on Nova's outstretched arm.
"Bless my sun and moons for I had the pleasure to meet you King, Queen, Princes." Cheron greeted but everyone ignored the gesture except King Deimos who was fairly proud of the confidence Cheron exhibited in front of such intimidating people and Prince Cygnus who didn't hold back any thoughts.

"It must be beautiful I'm sure." Cygnus said more to Cheron than anybody else.

"It is Prince. You can look for yourself." Queen Lysithea said breaking intense gaze of Prince Cygnus.

As the guest were escorted to their room Nova went straight to Cheron and discussed her personality guesses with her.
