Abhi Singh Thakur, a certified fitness coach, added the following advice to the list:
- Set realistic goals: If you set a goal that you know you cannot accomplish in the time allotted, it is not a good idea because you risk losing motivation and quitting if you do not achieve the goal. You must make goals based on your present capabilities and circumstances and only want for a position that is better than the one you are in right now.
- Progressive overload: Because the human body is intelligent and adapts to any activity, avoid overloading to the point where the results become stagnant. You should advance to the following stage if you are familiar with the movement of a certain exercise. Progressive overload entails exerting a little bit more effort. You can either do that by raising the weight, the reps, the rest period, or changing the exercise. You can repeat it every two weeks.
- Keep it simple: Consistency and the fundamentals are more important than doing a lot of exercise if you want to see results. Always leave room for fundamental exercises like pushups, chin-ups, dips, and squats, no matter what your aim may be.
- On-point nutrition - You can never reach your fitness goals without the right diet. If your objective is fat loss and you consume too many calories while exercising every day, you will not drop any inches. Make sure your diet is in line with your objectives.
- Hire a certified coach: A certified coach can help you according to your body type and circumstance and will accelerate the pace of your results while reducing injuries. Because everyone's DNA is unique in this world, if you try to copy any random fitness model or celebrity's regimen, you will fail and possibly get hurt.
