Referred to as the 'Venice of the East', popularly known as the city of lakes Udaipur is located across the azure water lakes. It is hemmed in by the lush greenery of the Aravallis hill. The famous Lake Palace is in the middle of Lake Pichola. It's amongst the best and the most beautiful locations in Udaipur. It also features home to Jaisamand Lake, which is claimed to be the second-largest sweet water lake in entire Asia. You'll explore the beautiful City Palace as well as the Sajjangarh which is popularly known as Monsoon Palace adding to the architectural beauty and grandeur of the city.

An amazing monument with a bronze statue of a great warrior Maharana Pratap upon his favorite horse Chetak, which stands over the top of the Moti Magri. Taking care of the Fateh Sagar. Often local people climbs up to the hill to pay homage to Rana Pratap and his faithful friend as well as charger "Chetak". Who was fiercely protective about his master and stood by him till the last count of his breathe. This loyal steed sacrificed it's life during the war between Mughals and Rajputs while carring his beloved rider Rana Pratap to safety from the battlefield of Haldighati.  

LAKE PALACE

Converted to a beautiful hotel though it was originally called Jag Niwas and was served as a summer palace. It was built between 1743 and 1746 upon the island near Jagmandir at Lake Pichola, the palace, facing east. It's an amazing place to visit and amazing sight to behold. Looking the beautiful architecture, the walls were constructed of white and black marble. They are adorned with semi-precious stones and ornamented niches. Consists of beautiful gardens, fountains, pillared terraces, and columns lining its courtyards. 

MONSOON PALACE

MONSOON PALACE

Though it is situated outside Udaipur, this 19th-century monument is built upon the top of the Bandara hills. It is used as the monsoon palace, used as a hunting lodge, built by the Maharana Sajjan Singh.  It was originally planned to make it an astronomical center. The plan was canceled after Maharana Sajjan's premature death. It's still an awe-inspiring sight on the Udaipur skyline and offers spectacular views of the city and the area around. It is amongst the most beautiful sight in Udaipur. One should not miss any chance to visit this place.
