Can You Really Focus On Yourself Without Focusing On Others?

Firstly , it's crucial that we should understand that focusing on ourselves isn't any kind of selfishness. It's actually self love. So of course, we can Focus on ourselves.

Today, it's truly hard to watch how some people, especially the youth, are struggling and suffering in their lives in order to fit into the society's view of a perfect being. Even in my life at a certain point , all I did was focus on others, focus on what people will say, watched others become successful, felt a lot of insecurities and judged myself.

I felt like I'm not worth doing anything  compared to others.

So that's when I gave myself time to understand what's happening with me.

I understood that The most important thing should be patience. We shall give ourselves enough time to nurture our self esteem and practice self love by doing whatever we love, especially by being acquainted with your loved ones.

There are times which we all have surely come across in our life's is that some people try to constantly push you down, throw every negative thing on you that you never wanted to hear and it is during this time the real test occurs. "Ohh yes! It's true I'm not smart, I don't know how to do this and to do that. Whatever people are saying is somewhat true". And this line goes on and on at such a point you start overthinking everything and start bubbling yourself. You start to focus on what others think is correct and you forget who you truly are. So this is the point in life where you have to be strong and focus on yourself rather than listening to any of these negative comments.

The thing which I understood through this experience was I was always too hard on myself. So I learnt that if we don't like anything that we do or how things are then we always have a chance to change it. It's never too late and we aren't a tree to be stiff.

We should remember to put ourselves first no matter what the consequences will be because that will define your self worth and how much you are capable of following your own path in life. And by loving and focusing on yourself will also put you at the advantage of not getting into psychological problems like anxiety, depression and thus forming a strong mindset.
