Idiot Tamil Movie Review

What is easier to make than to consume? If you guess Upma, my heart is with you. I think the answer is Tamil Horror Comedy! This genre shares certain similarities with  widely feared dishes, such as tasteless taste and urgent preparation

Starring: Shiva, Nicky Garani, Redin Kingsley, Ananda Raj, Urvasi

Idiot, a newcomer to the Horror Comedy League, doesn't take it seriously. You may be wondering if it's a precursor to comedy, but the problem with this is that the movie doesn't take the audience seriously. We understand that Lollu Sabha's creator, Rambhala, intends to provide an "ahocare minute experience," but the effort and thought behind this acclaimed show is lacking here. For example, Shiva, who suffers from a mental illness, looks at  Nikki with soup and asks, "Does Ninga use Panla Powder Bleach Powder Dana?" In another scene, Redin pushed behind the  car and  "Lorry kula yeriten!" This unpleasant attempt is just the tip of the iceberg. Rambhala attacks us in such an ignorant scene set in psychiatry, making us wonder if we should look for a therapist ourselves.

Idiot has some ideas to move the script forward, but there is no consistent plot. While making such "bold" moves, filmmakers need to make the randomness on the screen some kind of fun or thrill, but here, unlike us, Idiot. Only the team  seems to be exploding.

Shiva is an actor who created a unique style for himself in a dead comedy. His jokes usually land when he's not working very hard. But here, when he becomes an exile and tries to "play", the occasional laughter disappears.

On the other hand, I'm sorry for the female actors Nikki and Akshara. They feel very out of place in a random story and feel as indifferent to what is happening as we are.

The expression of asylum seekers has always been a problem in our cinemas. We describe them as a cheerful circus or a cruel torture chamber. They are not in the middle. Rambara chooses the former, and in an attempt to do so, he portrays most of his insane characters  as perverts who crack double entender. Things hit  new lows as one of the male prisoners dressed in Davani and turned a horrifying dance into a song. Such scenes are very unpleasant for both the LGBTQIA + community and people with mental illness.

In our country, it's a common sight  to see people protest a movie when they have  doubts. We saw a group of Christians suing Mani Ratnam  to Kadar, Rajput protesting Padmawat, and Muslims demanding a ban on Vishwaropam. While the films that hint at labeling people with mental illness as "stupid" haven't had any problems, it's very worrisome how well those films have endured so much confusion.
