We know that the Korean entertainment wave is taking India by a storm. From K-pop, Korean culture to  Korean drama  India is witnessing a surge  in Korean addiction. The  world is binging squid game, their latest masterpiece. Squid game has become number one series in ninety four countries around the world. But do you know the k-drama and k-movie craze actually started around a decade ago in the north eastern states of India during the days of CD's. If you are into Korean dramas then I have some suggestions for you .Though they have a variety of genre  like action dramas, historical dramas, school dramas, medical dramas, legal dramas, supernatural fictional dramas, horror dramas and some the dramas cover many these genre at one time. But I think the most popular among all these is the romance genre .

1. DESCENDANTS OF THE SUN:It is a 2016 South Korean romantic melodrama television series written by Kim Run Sook and Kim Won Deol. The characters in lead are Song joong ki playing the role of a army captain in South Korean special forces and his love interest is Song hye ko and she is playing a role of doctor by the name of kang MO Yeon. Other main character includes JinGoo and Kim ji Won. It was already a major hit in South Korea but when it was broascasted over Asia not only the actors in the show received international recognition it also boosted their tourism. The story depicts how Yoo Shi Jim falls in love with Mo Yean at first sight after which they soon started dating but their relationship was short lived as their professions kept them apart. Not only the demand of their profession keeps them separated,  their contradicting ideologies also plays a major role. On the one side where Meon is entitled to save lives of the people irrespective of their identity, Shi -Jim profession demands him to kill people for the sake of the country. The only thing which reignites their love is their  destiny .This drama flawlessly shows you how they bond together in a time of war and overcome the odd against them in order to reunite. Though  i can talk about this series at length but I live it to you to explore this beautiful crafted drama and experience the emotion they go through.
