Jai Bhim....Heart wrenching....raw...real......After ages saw an epic movie which refuses to leave my soul even after 24 hours Normally language barriers dont let us venture into art beyond our comfort... But Korean dramas n now movies like Pushpa and Jai bheem have made me that beauty does not need language.. of course the subtitles and dubbing helps but the fact that keeps you glued to your couch is the rich content... so coming to jai bhim was just sipping my post dinner coffee n narrating my childhood memories to my son...when we decided to watch this masterpiece...we thought we will see it for 10 mins n switch off....but 5 mins into it and we were all glued to it... it was an early morning working day for me but nothing stopped me from seeing it till wee hours of the morning. Anyone who believes in empathy ,who enjoys court room dramas who appreciates realistic acting...with no frills item numbers n unnecessary bold scenes to lure the audience should watch it Its based on a true incident... Suriya ..as a lawyer...who fights for justice is a talent mine...he just explodes on the screen....something so vulnerable about his face ... Lijomol bose....as the tribal wife seeking justice for her husband...just stole my heart... She performs like a subdued tigress..no over the top hysteria Her eyes ...convey her helplessness her love her pain her anger...oh God she is just so adorable... i wanted to just hug her and take away all her pain Perfect direction.. so engaging...each scene so well crafted the fight for injustice....the lost voices of the weak... the atrocities of the police n the rich... A movie each one should see....I am sure it will inspire the audience to become like the character Advocate Chandra...who in real life faught for human right violatons...free of cost....He says before I became a lawyer i was a human ....n cannot see other humans suffer.... A gold mine team..... i can go onn and onnnnn.... Its dubbed in Hindi so do enjoy it and get aware of few harsh realities of our society n get inspired to become a better human being with a purpose....beyond the self.... streaming on Amazon Prime....
