Hello bloggers, welcome to another weekly blog of mine I am going to talk about unknown facts about milk 

1 Milk is white because of its fat We all know that the milk contains a large amount of water (90% approx.) which includes essential nutrients such as fat and protein

2 On an average cow produces more than 6 gallons of milk in a day   A cow is capable of producing 2300 gallons of milk which is 60,000 pounds approx. every day 

3 Adding salt can help the milk to stay fresher Adding salt or baking soda helps the milk to stay fresher. A pinch of salt can lead the milk to last its freshness up to milk this method can protect the milk from spoilage 

World rarest is made from donkey milk Sounds weird but it is many people might not believe that donkey milk is used to make the world’s most expensive cheese which costs around 500 pounds 
 5 Milk is the only food that can survive wholly on  No single food or vegetable contain all nutrients such as carbohydrates and amino acids that require a person for growth. It is regarded as one of the biggest sources of Vitamin C, protein, , Calcium 

6 June is celebrated as the National  Dairy Month  Not many people not know June is observed as the National Dairy Month and this declaration was made in the year 1937 since there is a steady demand for dairy products and now it become an annual celebration 

7 Milk alternatives cover 13 percent of the milk market Over time the milk  market is also growing at a rapid pace if we look at the statics the sales of milk have reached millions this is largely possible because of the heavy demand for milk products across the globe 
 8 India is the largest producer of milk Yes it is hard to believe India is the largest producer of the milk including 70 percent production of milk 

9 Countries that drink milk win the maximum number of Nobel Prizes in the world According to a study conducted in the year 2013 the countries that consume more dairy produce the largest number of Noble prize winners in fact, it is Sweden who topped this list produce almost 32000 winners in a population of every 10 million and every Swedish consumes almost 800 lbs of milk every year
