Divorce allows a couple to come back to status as if they are not married. They become free from marrying again. Divorce means the dissolution of rights and obligations. Hindu marriage is regarded as sacred because it is a bond of indissoluble nature. In any society, if a couple feels that they cannot live together they have other options to dissolve the marriage. As far as Hindus are concerned the bond matrimony is regarded as a permanent bond and dissolution of marriage is not regarded as proper. Hindu marriage is a permanent and unbreakable bond keeping in view, Manu says that the husband and wife should treat each other in such a manner that no condition of divorce should arise for them to separate them from each other in many cases there is a number of other reasons have been noticed such as Financial Problems, Domestic violence, and substance abuse, etc at the time of divorce husband have to pay the wife a sum of money as elemi this could be a monthly or one-time settlement.
