Divorce allows a couple to come back to status as if they are not married. They become free from marrying again. Divorce means the dissolution of rights and obligations. Hindu marriage is regarded as sacred because it is a bond of indissoluble nature. In any society, if a couple feels that they cannot live together they have other options to dissolve the marriage. As far as Hindus are concerned the bond matrimony is regarded as a permanent bond and dissolution of marriage is not regarded as proper. Hindu marriage is a permanent and unbreakable bond keeping in view, Manu says that the husband and wife should treat each other in such a manner that no condition of divorce should arise for them to separate them from each other in many cases there is a number of other reasons have been noticed such as Financial Problems, Domestic violence, and substance abuse, etc at the time of divorce husband have to pay the wife a sum of money as elemi this could be a monthly or one-time settlement. Divorce can be done by type Mutually or in court. There are three aspects of divorce the first one is a maintenance issue as per the law there is no minimum or maximum amount limit it could be any figure or no figure. The second aspect is the custody of the child and the third one is the property in this husband and wife decide who gets which part of the property could be moveable or unmovable. Right down to bank accounts everything gets divided but it is only possible if both parties agreed the latest example can be taken of famous Bollywood actors Aamir Khan and Hrithik Roshan where they have to pay hundreds of crores to their wives as elemi well this elemi could be varied according to the financial status of the husband. The duration of divorce by a mutual constant can be 6 to 18 months depending on the decisions of court as per section 13B of Hindu Marriage Act of 1955 and section 28 of special marriage act 1954 the couple must be living separately for at least one year before  divorce proceedings can begin under the section 10A of 1869 this duration is two years at the end I would like to only say that when a divorce is a social evil that not only a broke a couple but it also broke their families
