Today I am going to share about my native state of Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu is one of the state in India located in southern down in the map. 

Tamil Nadu has 38 districts and its population is 6.79 crore. The name Tamil Nadu comes from its mother language of Tamil. 

It is also called as Land of Temples. Tamil Nadu famous for temples, agriculture , cuture and also foods.It has more number of tourist places.

Top cities in Tamil Nadu : 

Tamil has more number of cities . The most popular cities are 

• Chennai
• Coimbatore
• Madurai
• Ooty

1.Chennai

It is the capital of Tamil Nadu state. Chennai is also knwn as Madras ( Madarasa Patnam when British government control). Chennai is the largest city of Tamil Nadu .It is the smallest district of Tamil Nadu having only 175 Km.

Chennai has beautiful beaches, temples, high court, zoological park, theme park , companies and institutions (IIT) . Most of the other district people lived in Chennai for work. It is the great place to work for everyone

It has more number of attractive places.There are,

• Marina Beach, Elliot's Beach
• Government museum
• Thousand light Mosque
• Kapaleeswarar Temple
• Shridi Sai Baba temple

2.Coimabtore

Coimabatore also known as Kovai. It is the second largest city in Tamil Nadu. It is one the great place to live the life peacefully and happily because this city financially satisfied and secure for women.

coimbatore famed as Manchester of south India. It is famous for automobile industries , textile industries , spare manufacturing .It has more number of colleges overall in Tamil Nadu.

It been located nearly in Kerala state, so it could be Chill climate and beautiful nature. Technology wise also this city improved. The most favourite places of coimbatore are,

3.Madurai

It is the Cutural capital of Tamil Nadu. Madurai was famous for festivals and Hindu temples. Its skyline dominated by 14 gopurams(gateway towers) of Meenakshi Amman Temple.

Madurai called as Thunga Nagaram , beacause this city energitic and active in night time also. It has 3 hils around that a, there are Yaanaimalai, Pasumalai and Nagamalai.

It has Vaigai river from ancient time, it is one of the important river in south india.Madurai has more number of tourist places

4.Ooty

Ooty is a resort town in the western ghats mountain of Tamil Nadu. It is located in Udhagamandalam district .It is the hillstation. 

It is called as Queen of Hills. Ooty is one of the best tourist spot in summer days. It has working steam engine railway lines.It is famous for tea estates and resorts.
