  • In our country every three second someone attempts sucide.
  • One third of all the female suicides and one fourth of male suicides  in the world takes palce in india.
  • Approximately 1.3 million Indians take their own lives every year. A shocking 17 percentage of the world in total.
  • When it comes to youth the statistic are staggering. We have the higest rate of suicide in The world, sadly 40 percent of all suicides in india all reported below the age of 30.
  • It is one of the top cause of death in age group of 15-35.
  • In india every one hour the Student commit suicide.

What is sucide?

         Suicide means ending our own life called suicide .When someone ends their own life we say that died by sucide. A suicide attempt means that someone tried to end their life but not die.

What can I do if am thinking about suicide? 

          Think of  suicide is something scary. You may have strong feeling they are hard to deal with. You may think like things may never be better.but you are not alone. Thinking about suicide is a bad thing. Thinking about sucide if often a sign that you want to escape.it not a clever decision

          There are ways to think feel better. Remember you are not alone. You can start by talking to others. You can talk to family members or friends or some other you trust. You can also call crisis line. You call the num 1-800-784-2433 Whenever you you need help . It is a free call.they are trained to help people's. 

             If you have doctor or counsellor,tell them how you feel. They can teach you skills to deals with thought of suicide.

How can I protect myself from suicide? 

             No one will say that they never have thought of suicide. You can do two big things to help prevent suicide.here are some help to prevent suicide.

  • Build connection with other people.

Feeling connected to others Is big part of protecting yourself from suicide. Always be connected with people. Help others.

  • Get help early for mental health problem.

Mental health problem are big part of suicide. You can help protect yourself by finding help for mental health problems early. 

Here are some common mental health problem.

  1. Feeling like nothing makes you happy anymore.
  2. Felling sad or hopeless doe many weeks
  3. Feeling like you cannot cope with things that happens in your life.

Who is at risk of suicide? 

         Suicide does not discriminate. It can touch anyone, anywhere at anytime. But it risks you and you loved ones. But it is not even a solution .. you can make you life more beautiful by your thoughts and action
