A massage therapist I know asked me if she should start asking people to donate money for her services instead of paying a certain price. He thought that the first was the last manifestation of the plural.
What do you think?
Is paying a customer or client a sign of prosperity?
I say NO.
Not wanting to charge for your services is a police eviction. It is a psychological strategy. It is a trick to deceive yourself into thinking you are very successful and do not need to charge, when in the face you actually say you are so scared of money that you cannot even try to ask for what you want.
Think about it.
If your electricity company said, "Hey, we're prosperous, so just pay us what you think we deserve," what would you pay them?
Be honest. Most people can get used to understanding hunger and pay little or nothing, even if the service provided is one of us and most of us need to live well.
Don’t think you’re safe from mental deception. Decades ago a therapist I knew tried not to charge his service, charge a high fee, and charge a low fee.
People who saw him for free or cheap did not respect him, or his time, and they did not change. High-paying customers show up on time, pay attention, do the job, and get better results.
Money is not just a tool but an emotional one. Unless you are clear about the meaning, you will be like a physiotherapist who thought he was prospering by asking for charitable donations, and he was actually afraid.
I have written a whole book to help you be clear on money, called Attract Money Now. I offer its e-book version to remove your excuses for failure.
Have you requested a book?
Have you read?
Have you applied the seven principles found in it?
Deal with it. You need money to live within your means.
Even people who want to make a difference in the world's poorest nations find that having money makes it easier to make the difference.
I was able to donate thousands of dollars to build schools, repair schools, and help children in need, and to launch a television campaign to end homelessness that CNN will broadcast on television.
Even people who want to volunteer for a nonprofit organization find that they need money to live, travel, eat, and work.
A friend of mine once said, "I want to do volunteer work, but I can't afford it."
Money is a powerful tool. You can use it as you wish, but only if you have it.
Specify money and attract other results you want in life.
