Menstruation is a nature part of a productive cycle in which blood from the  uterus exit trough the vagina. It is a natural process that first occurs in girls usually between the age of 11 to 14yr. 
 

But in India this not a normal thing. “This is like cursed” 

In India even mere mention of the topic has been a taboo in the past and even to this date the cultural and social influences appear to be a hurdle for advancement of knowledge on the subject. Culturally in many parts of India, menstruation is still considered to be dirty and impure. Menstruating girls and women's are also prohibited 🚫 for touching holy books and offering prayers. “Not entertaining in Pooja room” is the major restriction for girls.Taboos surrounding menstruation exclude women and girls from many aspects of social and cultural life. Some of these are helpful, but others have potentially harmful implications.

If i am talking about my home ( My sasural),  so many restrictions are still their. Like “Don‘t show your face to God otherwise they will punished you” , “Don’t touch the water purifier“ “ Don’t put your period clothes with normal days clothes”, “ Don’t touch the pickel bottle“, ”Don’t touch any thing which have gods picture on it”,  “Wash your hair at 4th day of your cycle”. There are so many chores to do after you completed 4 days of your cycle, like washing  towels, bathrobs, pillow covers , blankets, sofa covers, bed-sheet,  even door mates. In short wash that all things which you touched during your period. If in her hands then she will even wash all floors and door handles.

At my home there are no rules. And here so many restrictions so this is very frustrating for me. I don’t understand this things . Why you have to do all this things. 

Dates back to the Vedic times and is often been linked to Indra's slaying of Vritras. For, it has been declared in the Veda that guilt, of killing a brahmana-murder, appears every month as menstrual flow as women had taken upon themselves a part of Indra's guilt.

This is the main reason that women have to suffer from this painful days every month up to her 60’s. This things are given by God so how can they give you punishment if you see him during your menstrual cycle???????
