Are We Really Being Treated Equally?

What actually is gender equality or nowadays fancily called Feminism. I am not against feminism or any related issue but I want to put straight the actual meaning of what “Feminism” was created for.

Feminism was first created to give “equal rights” to women as men were treated as a higher authority. I double quoted the equal rights because we want to show equality to both the sexes and also the other newly created LGBTQ+ community. Equal rights don't mean giving any one of them the upper hand, it means treating them both equally. both should be given equal opportunities.

We see in the news that women are being raped women, harasses, etc, but most people don't know that men or boys can be harassed and raped too but no one shows or talks about them. They are humans too they also they can get psychological problems too. In our Indian constitution or mostly anywhere in the world men are considered to be the main house earners. Men are taught to be stronger from their childhood. If they cry parents don't tell them “it's okay to cry”, “you can lean on my shoulder whenever you want to cry” instead they say "Men are not supposed to cry. Why? Why aren't men supposed to cry? Aren't they humans? don't they have feelings?

Women are belittled from the start even though they have immense power to look over the whole household and manage things efficiently. I don't know how it started but yes now that things are getting better and women are grabbing more opportunities and having the guts to fight their own battles, the success and power are commendable. however, the root problems stay as it is. If a woman earns greater than men it is considered taboo, in some or the other way society finds its way to make things as they were before.

Everyone in this world goes through ups and downs and for that, they need to go through lots of emotional, physical, and mental changes for which they need support whether it may be a Male or a Female. For the world to be a better place we need to treat everyone equally even the Queer genders, they are not bad people they are just different than us in a beautiful way. They are humans, in fact, they are much kinder than the Male and Female community we have.

No matter what the gender is respect them, care for them, the world will definitely be a better place for living.
