K.G.F: Chapter 1 is a 2018 Indian period action movie in the Kannada language[5] that was written and directed by Prashanth Neel and was made by Vijay Kiragandur under the Hombale Films banner. It is the first of the series' two parts, with K.G.F: Chapter 2 coming next. Yash, Ramachandra Raju, Srinidhi Shetty, Vasishta N. Simha, Achyuth Kumar, Anant Nag, Archana Jois, T. S. Nagabharana, B. Suresha, and Malavika Avinash are among the ensemble cast members in the movie. It was the most costly Kannada film at the time of its release, with a budget of 800 million rupees (approximately to 910 million or US$11 million in 2020). [2] Rocky, a high-ranking mercenary working for a well-known gold mafia in Bombay, pursues wealth and power in the movie in order to realise his Mother Wish.

Rocky is a driven young guy who desires to pass away as the most wealthy and influential person in the world. He starts on the assignment and travels from the streets of Mumbai to the fields of KGF. He also had a journalist who documented his life in the 1980s retell his story.

KGF, directed by Prashanth Neel and starring Yash as the lead, is undoubtedly the most talked-about Kannada movie in the country. There have been very high expectations. Do they deliver as a team? They do, in fact. The movie's first half, which is fast-paced and does seem a touch long, is set up well by the second half and the conclusion.

The most fascinating aspect of the movie is the screenplay. The pattern is not linear, maintaining the non-linear structure keeps the audience interested as Rocky's development is demonstrated steadily. A brilliant story telling pattern has been preserved by the creators, which ensures that one will also be able to follow the storyline even though there are a decent number of scenes and exchanges that elicit laughter and applause from the audience. The movie jumps from 1951 to 2018 while keeping the audience intrigued as each individual is revealed.

The locations, art direction, and cinematography give the movie an extra edge. Everything appears to be of the highest calibre, and the scenes frequently leave one in awe. All of them are depicted, from the glitzier nightlife scenes in Bangalore to the gloomy, dark environment in KGF.

When Yash plays Rocky, he truly inhabits the role, and the audience can't help but root for him on television. Each member of the ensemble cast plays their assigned roles and contributes in some little way to the development of Rocky's character.

The initial section of the story develops Rocky's persona as the maverick mastermind who will do whatever it takes to complete his purpose. While the first section of the movie provides some momentary closure, one also leaves the room longing for more. KGF certainly appears to have accomplished what it set out to do.
