Grilled sandwiches are one of most loved snack among today's generation. People among all age groups from kids to adults and seniors all seem to love this amazing recipe. Being one of easiest recipes , cheese grilled sandwiches are easy to make and best for breakfast as well as lunch.
One thought of this snack is so tempting that it makes you wish to have it served right in front on your table but in these times of complete lockdown its not at all safe to order food from outside. when you can make them at home so easily, why worrying about ordering from outside? All you got to do is get out of your couch and pick up the ingredients from your refrigerator and action!
So without wasting much of your time let's get started into turning you into a superstar chef.
let's begin with the ingredients list and then we will discuss the steps of the procedure to prepare best cheese grilled sandwiches at home.
INGREDIENTS :
Bread (any type but make sure it is sturdy enough to hold the vegetables and cheese in it)
Cheese (cheddar/mozzarella)
Onion, Tomato, Cucumber, Capsicum (any other vegetable of your choice)
Tandoori sandwich spread
Mayonnaise
Ketchup
Butter
STEPS :
Chop all the vegetables you are using for the sandwich finely into small pieces and mix in with enough amount of mayonnaise to make a paste kind of consistency .
Take a bread spread the tandoori sandwich spread over the bread using a knife and now put in good amount of all the chopped veggies on the bread now spread grated mozzarella cheese and cheddar over it.
Take another piece of bread spread the tandoori sandwich over one side of the bread and place it over the sandwich we have been preparing.
Now heat a grill pan on medium to low flame and apply enough butter on it that bread does not stick to the pan and is crispy.
Now place the prepared sandwich in the pan and cook until bread turn golden brown from both sides. Make sure to press down the bread while cooking so the the grill lines are formed on the bread.
Now are grilled cheese sandwich are ready to serve with ketchup or other chutneys of your preference. Indians do love it with tea (chai) so make your choice to serve it with cold drinks or other beverages of your choice.
