The story of "PONNIYIN SELVAN 2," also known as PS-2, takes place in Thanjavur in the tenth century. Chozhar, the monarch of the Chola dynasty, and his sons Aditha Karikalan (Chiyaan Vikram) and Ponniyin Selvan (Jayam Ravi), want to expand their realm. They lead invasions of Kanchi and Lanka to accomplish this. A string of  battles and shady plots, highlighted by power struggles, come next.
