The informer

Bertolt Brecht was born on 10 February 1898 he was a German theatre practitioner playwright and poet the rise of the incident Nazi dictatorship in Germany for him to write against the socialist and fastest movement he set out to create a work that portrays the fear repression and violence of life in Nazi Germany .

The play the informer is a unique you comedy with a tragic backdrop it is about a family during the period of Hitler as a chancellor and ever the operation conditions in forest Germany it is an incisive portrayal of the psychology of a school master and his wife when they noticed the sudden disappearance of their son. The play abruptly begins in the living room of a typical German middle class family it consists of a dialogue between the school master and his wife about a telephone ring from certain friends on a rainy Sunday afternoon their maid gives tutored reply that they are not at home device wants to meet friends but she is not allowed by husband that dialogues sparks off a heated argument between them each expression from her husband on the rains the priest trials the brown house or the concentration camps is subject to construction whitch smoke of anti Hitler postures.

They convince themselves that their son is drafted as a a member of the Hitler youth club they even have fears that their made also works for the Nazi as an informer.

At last there is a knock at the door and there tremble with fear that thing that they will be arrested like the father of Walter has quiz a hitler youth to their surprise the boy comes in with a bag of chocolates but with the ten sense given by his mother they are not ready to believe that their son has gone out only to buy chocolates in this play the writer brings out the comic effect out of his seemingly  tense situation.
