In China they're simply known as the Three Laughing Monks.
They always travel together and they did nothing differently but laugh.
They entered a village or a city, stood in the center of its main forecourt, and started laughing sluggishly but surely.
The people who lived and worked there and the passers by could not repel and had to start laughing as well until a small laughing crowd had formed and ultimately the laughing had spread to the whole vilage or city.
That was the moment when the three old monks moved on to the coming village.
Their horselaugh was their only prayer, all of their tutoring, because they noway spoke to anybody.
They just created that situation each over China.
They were loved and admired.
The people had noway known similar spiritual preceptors before or after.
They sounded to communicate that life should be taken only as a great occasion to laugh, as if they had discovered some kind of cosmic joke.
So they traveled and laughed for numerous times, spreading joy and happiness throughout China, until one day while being at a particular vill in the North fiefdom, one of them failed.
The people were shocked and came running from hence, leaving the fields unattended for the day, only to witness the other two monks response to this dramatic event.
They were awaiting them to show anguish or indeed cry.
And the whole vill came to the place where the three monks where.
Two alive and one dead.
But the 2 remaining monks were laughing only harder.
They were laughing and laughing and couldn't feel to stop.
So, that a many of the good people who were aiding to the scene in this belief approached them and asked them why they were not mourning at all for their departed friend.
And for one time the monks actually responded," because history, on our way to your vill, he proposed the bet on who of us would beat the other two and die first."
And now he won the old mischief.
He indeed had a testament prepared the tradition needed to wash the dead and change his clothes before putting him on the burial barrow.
But the old monk had explicitly asked to leave the old clothes on him, since he'd noway been unprintable for one day.
I noway allowed any of the smut of this world to reach me through my horselaugh, his testament stated.
So the old man's body was placed on the barrow with the garments he was wearing when he'd arrived.
And as the fire was lit and started licking on his clothes, to everyone's astonishment, suddenly fireworks of 100 colors went exploding up and down and to all directions.
And eventually the people who had gathered there also joined the horselaugh of the two wise men.
you see in life, in your life, perhaps the only reason that we're then on this earth is, so we can laugh and laugh and noway stop passing joy and horselaugh.
