Here are 10 Indian recipes that are incredibly hot that you should try tasting at least once, and more if your taste buds can handle it!

Indian cuisine is incomplete without the use of spices, whether it be the spicy curries or the succulent meats. In addition to being flavorful and aromatic, spices also help with digestion and have anti-inflammatory qualities. Indian food is notorious for having a touch too much heat, which frequently makes people's noses run and leaves them struggling to handle the intense spices. Several states in the nation are renowned only for the copious amounts of chiles utilised in their cuisine. We still continue to eat more of these scalding, scorching foods, though!

PHAAL CURRY

Not every day do chefs prepare food while donning gas masks. But when they do, Phaal curry must be the food in question. The distinction of being the hottest curry in the world belongs to Phaal, which is made from Bhut Jolokia, the world's hottest chilli. After consuming this, even daredevils might 'phaal'.

CHICKEN CURRY

Think no further if you have a thing for hot meals and that Syrian Catholic chick. Wed her. For the majority of your life, there is a good chance that spicy chicken curry will be on your plate. The spiciest curry in India is a staple of the Syrian Catholic Community in Kerala and will send your taste buds on a wild ride.

ANDHRA CHILLI CHICKEN

You can only imagine how spicily Andhra Chilli Chicken, a meal made with green chilies, will be! This dish of boneless chicken is a great appetiser or side dish to their well-known biryani. Prior to being deep-fried or stir-fried, the chicken is marinated. The amount of green chiles used to spice it up gives it its flavour and green colouring.

KOZHI CURRY

One of the spiciest and hottest chicken curries you will ever eat is the Kozhi curry from Kerala. Spice connoisseurs will like this hot curry cooked using coconut as the base and green and red chilies as the spice. The chilli powder chicken marinade is sautéed in oil and then tempered in coconut oil to add an equivalent amount of heat to the spicy chicken curry. It goes without saying that eating this hot Indian food would make you sweat.

CHICKEN  CHETTINAD

Chicken Chettinad or Chettinad is a typical Indian dish from the Chettinad region of Tamil Nadu. It's produced from chicken that's been marinated in yoghurt, turmeric, and a paste that includes crushed almonds, red pepper flakes, garlic, kalpasi, coconut, poppy seeds, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, fennel seeds, and gingelly oil. It is often served hot with paratha or rice that has just finished boiling.

RISTA

A typical Kashmiri meal called rista is cooked with lamb or mutton. The flavour of this dish is greatly influenced by the saffron.

After being cooked with yoghurt and spices, the beef is shaped into little balls. After that, the ristas are skewered and roasted over charcoal.

A warm and flavorful dish like risa is ideal for a chilly winter evening. Usually, this dish is served with a mild salad or raita. So be sure to give rista a try if you're looking for something fresh.

DAL TADKA

An Indian dish called dal tadka is created with spicy lentils. A mixture of spices, including cumin, mustard seeds, and red chilli peppers, are added after the dal has been cooked until it is soft. Arhar or Masoor dal can be used to make dal tadka.

Add fresh cilantro and lemon juice to finish it off. Dal tadka is a full, hearty dish that is ideal for a winter supper and goes particularly well with rice.
