Flashbacks are used in the story's narration. The adolescent Velusamy (Sri) works in a convenience store. At a couple of the nearby flats, he meets Jyothi (Urmila Mahanta), a maidservant, and falls in love with her.
One of the apartment buildings is home to Aarthy (Manisha Yadav). The student living in the same building is named Dinesh (Mithun Murali). Dinesh acts like a spoilt brat. By happenstance, Aarthy falls in love with him without realizing what he's really up to. Dinesh finds Aarthy attractive as well. Taking advantage of the situation, he records her intimate moments on camera with his phone and even sends them via MMS to his buddies. During their date at a beach resort, Aarthy discovers and is horrified.
When the dishonest Police Inspector Kumaravel (Muthuraman) starts his investigations, the film picks up speed. In order to conclude the inquiry and identify Dinesh as the murder attempt suspect, Kumaravel first attempts to talk with Dinesh's mother, a school correspondent, but she ultimately declines because of her obstinate nature. However, Dinesh’s mother goes to the Minister and begs him to step in. After some haggling, the Minister and Kumaravel decide that the latter should receive 10 lakh rupees in exchange for Dinesh's release from the probe.
What happens next in the movie is an emotional roller coaster for the viewers and I must say that at the end in the final scene even the bravest or the strongest will shed a tear.
This movie is available in Disney Hotstar and Prime video as well.
