            In this blog let me share what I see in my real life. Marriage within blood relation. In my village, at least 10 couples would be there who got married among blood relations. Mostly will be they are so much interrelated among themselves until three or four generations. Tamilnadu stands first and Karnataka becomes 2nd in marriage within blood relations.

Many reasons are there for this kind of marriage. Those reasons are they don't want any outsiders in their family. They are afraid that girls from other families may split their families. You may feel that is ridiculous and that still happens in this modern world. Yes, it happens still in many villages. 

One of my cousins doesn't want to marry the daughter of his sister. But his mom compelled him with a lot of emotional blackmailing. He agreed to marry at last. Now, this couple is struggling.for few years she can't conceive. After seeing a lot of doctors, she became pregnant and then she lost the child in 7 months. Now it's not a guarantee that she can be able to give birth to healthy child. The main reason is that they are blood-related. Now blaming goes on and then he is feeling meaningless with this marriage life.  

What are the effects of this marriage on the blood relations?

The main thing is the problem with childbirth. When you are pregnant and go to the hospital for a checkup. The first question arises from the doctor. Are couples blood-related? That is the main concern. There is a higher risk of birth defects, stillbirths, infant mortality and short life expectancy. 

Everything happens because of readiness. These elders don't understand the reason behind this. They just want their grandsons, and granddaughters, to be with them and they don't want any outsider to enter their home. But after effects, they can't change the fact and had to blame one another and live the life to the end. 

Even in the 21st century, they didn't even know who's sperm determines the sex of the child, then it will take many more years for them to understand what are the exact reason and who to blame and who is not.
