Kowdiar palace a place where you can get in touch with nature and tradition the palce was built by sri chitra thirunal for his sisters marriage in Trivandrum kerala. The palace is surrounded by a large variety of flora.
One of the major highlight of the palace is that it has over 150 rooms and each rooms are constructed with antique following the traditional method. Due to the amendment act the palace property has been divided by the royal family for the two Travancore queens. But unfortunately they have restricted the visit for guest into the palace. However if you take special permission you will be able to enter inside the main reason for restriction is because the royal family still lives there.
From the reviews of people who visited the palace we get to know that the royal family has a very loving and caring attitude towards the guests and others. Not to forget that the visitors has also mentioned about the food which taste extremely great this could be due to the great ambience around them. As many people know Trivandrum is know for its great flavors of food.
Being the capital city of kerala Trivandrum has also made its way in showing success and maintaining beauty of nature in many ways there are multiple tourists attractions in Trivandrum alone. People who enjoy beauty, adventure (like trekking hiking etc.),people who enjoys and loves different form of art and pictorial traditional art, music lovers, and tea lovers....if you are one, who come under any of this categories then Trivandrum is a pace for you. Being a city with lots of traditional entertainment there is also space for modern life style.
If you ever think of not visiting kerala due to communication problem do not worry about it in kerala language is never a barrier or a problem for foreigners as kerala is one of the state with high literacy rate so people who are planning to come to kerala just pack your things and get ready to enjoys your self and let your self free other than worrying about the problems you will face as that's never gonna happen.
To be honest in my opinion Keralites follows a give and take policy when it comes to respect love and care according to kerala tradition a guest is treated with high respect and care it is even considered as a cultural ritual as fulfilling the needs of the guests and taking care of then or even hoping them brings happiness to the family.
