Hello fellow writers and bloggers! It feels so good to be writing back again in this beautiful community where ideas, thoughts and feelings flow through vocabulary.
I have not been writing for quite some time as I was not feeling the urge to jot down my thought process and it is quite sometime since I have read some many of the beautiful blogs of the fellow writers. This space of community makes me remind of so much of home and comfort and that is why I decided to write down my feelings.
How much do you miss your parents when you have to stay away in a far away place for work or studies? I must say, the majority of the Gen Z would agree that it has been a difficult journey without having our parents beside us. That is when we all realize that it is also called ‘adulting’!
According to millennials, the concept of “adulting” is really more of a commentary on the emotional state of the millennial generation. The phrase is used by Millennials to imply a degree of psychic distress.
I just remembered reading an article published in the Cosmopolitan, one of my favorite magazine, that said ‘Kindly shut the hell up about “Adulting”, where the writer tells her story and thoughts on adulting. It is a fun piece to read and you surely will relate it with your daily life stories. The writer says the Adulting is just like existing and she is actually right, ain’t it?
I do sometimes feel I just exist for nothing, like nothing. I know we are born for a reason , a reason to live, to love and to be happy. I did find my reason to love, my love, whom I found nine years and got married to.
Well, I think I kind of diverted my topic a little bit, but I think you guys might have understood that. So back to Adulting.
I think I am yet to adult off my life, I think so. I haven't started working yet, haven't staring paying for any rent, electricity or any other 'adulting' stuff. I don't know when will I actually get to know if I am adulting in my life.
Do you think you are adulting in your life? Tell me how is that going in the comment box below. Cant wait to read some fun stories!
That's it folks for this blog! Spread love, peace and music! Byee!
