The creators of Vijay and Pooja hegde's upcoming action movie Beast have released the first single from the film.  The song entitled  “Arabic Kuthu” was composed by Anirudh Ravichander. He also sang the number together with Jonita Gandhi. The number is full of energy and will force you to listen to it to the end. In that light, we list five key takeaways from the sensational track.

First

Not a hero introduction no, but a duet song

For his die-hard fans,Vijay is Thalapathy(commander/Leader). So when a film stars him,the first song is expected to focus on his character's aura. But Arabic Kuthu is not a heroic number. Instead it's a duet,so Hegde is featured  jairly prominently as well. Starting a romantic song on Valentine's Day always works.Good move!

Second

Non-Tamil words are used, as seen in Vijay led songs, but less so

The words of Sivakarthikeyan are a big plus for the song. The use multiple non-Tamil words through out the number reinforces its upbeat flavour that make clicks. One observation:the made up words here are much less compared to Vijay's older song simtaanaran, Another welcome song.

Third

Extravagant sets, elaborate costumes, background dancers

Next the spectacular graphics. Being a lyrical videos, we don't see the entire content of the video, but at the 1:11 minute mark a magnificent golden set greets up and leaves us in awe. The extravagant sets that resemble  the interior of a palace are beautifully complemented by the costumes of the main actors, the intricate  choreography and the background dancers. Special mention:her belly dancing moves.

Fourth

Fusion of Arabic Kuthu-western styles, but still sound fresh

The 4:42 minute song sound like a typical Ravichander composition,but it's still quite entertaining. It has fast beats and as soon as it starts it grows on you. As advertised by the Beast team, the music is indeed a mix of Arabic and Western  styles. Although we have had Arabic-style songs in the past, like Meherzylaa from Maanadu,Arabic Kuthu feels fresh.

Fifth

Song offers no clue as to film's story 

When songs from upcoming movies are released, we usually tend to look for clues about the movie's story. Arabic Kuthu, however offers nothing of the sort. We can only Assume that the track would be placed somewhere in the middle of the film and no more than that. But Vijay's sculpted physique proves that Beast will be into action.

The Beast film presents Sun TV Kalanidhimaran. Beast film is a 2022 Indian Tamil language action comedy film.

Actor Vijayis now awaiting the release of his film "Beast",which will be directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. He will soon begin filming the next film,tentatively titled Thalapathy 66,which will be directed by Vamshi Paidipally, the director of Nagarjuna and Karthi's Thozha.
