This recipe is native to Maharashtra. Onions, lemon, coriander, and farsan  are added to the finished meal to look good and attractive and gives an awesome taste to this recipe.

2.SARSON KA SAAG

Native : Punjab


Mustard greens and spices are cooked and finally gives the result Sarson ka saag.Basically , this recipe is native to Punjab but it is also known throughout the North region.

3.KOSHA MANGSHO

Native : West Bengal


This recipe is a mixture of mutton ,along with tomatoes,onions,yoghurt and spices.Pulao or roti is a great match for this recipe. Gravy is spicy and tasty.It is native to West Bengal 

4.DHOKLA

Native : Gujarat


Dhokla is native to the region of Gujarat and it's nearby states. It is made with a fermented batter that is steamed to a cake like consistency. It is most popular throughout the country.

5.PONGAL

Native : Tamil Nadu

Pongal is a tasty rice and mainly prepared for a festival celebrated by Tamilans called ‘Pongal’.It can be sweet or salt according to our wish.It looks like a porridge.

6.PAPPAYA KHAR

Native :Assam


Khar can be made with several items like pappaya,fish,meat and vegetables.Khar is native to Assam.It can be served with rice or other foods.

7.LITTU CHOKHA

Native : Bihar


It looks like a ball shaped and filled with spicy masala made by them.It is native to Bihar but can also be seen in Uttar Pradesh and Bhojpuri region. 

8.POOTHAREKULU

Native : Andhra Pradhesh


The state in South India called Andhra pradesh is famous for putharekulu. This recipe is basically sweet as it is filled with sugar,dry fruits and nuts.They are packed in a wafer-thin paper.

9.BIRIYANI

Native : Telangana


This recipe is native to Telangana but it is seen everywhere and liked by everyone as it is a famous recipe.It use a specialized rice which is thin and long .It is mixed with spices ,meat or egg . Vegetarians prefer vegetable biriyani which is also common in all areas.

10.APPAM

Native : Kerala

Using fermented rice batter and coconut milk the recipe called appam is prepared.It is native to Kerala but famous throught South India and Srilanka.It can be eaten with dalcurry or beafcurry which is a special match in Kerala.
